We have never been fishing in the Caribbean before and didn’t know what to expect but Papa Smurf blew us out of the water! We had an incredible experience with Captain Anthony and first mate Mike. They took us to a couple great spots on the reef and we caught a ton of strawberry grouper, rainbow runners, triggerfish, yellowfin snapper and butterfish. There were times all 4 of us had multiple fish on the line and we ended up with a pile of very nice size fish that was delicious and good for grilling and baking. Anthony and Mike were super attentive, friendly and helpful and even taught some of our novice fishermen a few tips and tricks. Definitely a five star experience, great price, and awesome time and we will be booking again next time we are in St. Maarten.

My husband & I honeymooned to St Martin & we are so glad we booked with Papa Smurf. The crew was so kind, generous & really knew what they were doing. We were fortunate to catch a wahoo, tuna & a few barracuda! When arriving back to the dock they surprised us with a champagne toast which couldn’t have been more thoughtful!

After the charter ended, they sliced up our fish & took us to a local chef who prepared our fresh caught fish for us – it was amazing! This charter was truly the highlight of our trip & I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to lead us through it! I would absolutely recommend Papa Smurf!
